I just had my computer repaired(hard drive failure) When I got the computer back it say that it detects two displays when I only have the one display of the actual computer and cannot change it to one display without the screen going black. Display 2 though being the main display still gives me the same problem in the screen going black as well as display 1, neither let me bring the displays down to a single display for just my computer. Any help would be great.

Hi lamb32,

 

 It would help greatly if you were to identify your notebook PC with the complete product name or product number. Also post the installed operating system.

 

Does your notebook have switchable graphics?

Can you post screenshots with the use of the Windows 7 snipping tool to show what you are talking about?
