If anyone gets Catalyst 12.4 working, I'd like an exact step by step guide. I've tried and failed at installing it.

Don't understand. Mine was working ok fine, but now the catalyst center seems to have disapeared. I can't switsch between the two cards. I mean the right click in desktop doesnt give me the opportunity to change card....I just installed catalyst 12.4 on top of 12.2 to c if that helped but no luck. So now I can only play with the intel card.
I suspect maybe the HP-Driver as dissapeared somehow? Which one should I install, I mean where do I get the original and what is the name?

Hey everyone!
I just bought a dv7-6c85eo computer from HP.
It has i7 processor and the RADEON 7690M XT card.
I am experiencing major problems when I'm trying to play games like Diablo 3 for example. I can't even run it on LOW graphic settings. I'm not the one that knows very much about computers but I've tried with some things mentioned in this thread and still haven't been able to solve it.
What I've done:
1. Installed BIOS drivers update from HP page.
2. Installed audio/graphic drivers update from HP page.
3. Changed from "Dynamic" to "Fixed" in BIOS for switchable graphics.
4. Right clicked on my deskop to enter 'Configure graphics switching’ and tried to chose so that Diablo 3 uses high performance(7960M XT) instead of using the integrated Intel HD graphic card.
I'm using the newest CCC version 12.6 right now but I've tried installing version 12.2 and 12.4 nothing seemed to help.
Right now when I enter "Switchable graphics" this is how it looks like: http://tinypic.com/r/34ew8du/6 <- I guess it's the way it should look and that I've picked the right option? It says: "Now active GPU: GPU with high performance".
Still nothing seems to work, I still lag AS HELL. Like 5x worse than I do on my 3-4 years old HP laptop which is **bleep**...
Edit: I also tried to install a shitty 2d game called "Tibia" just to see if it would work smoother in a game like that, but it still lags/freezes ALOT! So obviously it's some setting I've got wrong. I'd really be grateful if someone could help me out with this!!!
Anyone got a real solution to this problem?!?!?! I would love some help guys!! <3

The best solution is to either return this laptop, or exchange it for a model with Nvidia gt 650m that HP is now selling. You have a 21-day window starting the date you received your laptop, if you buy directly from HP. If you didn't buy directly from HP, return your laptop for a refund if you still can.
We've tried many solutions and results vary. If you still want to make it work, this "might" work for you.
1. Uninstall all video driver, new or old, intel or amd. Then use driver sweeper (phyxion.net) to clean left-over drunk files.
2. After driver sweeper, restart and then go straight into BIOS and change the graphic option from "fixed" to "dynamic."
3. After windows loads up, download and install HP graphic driver that has both AMD and Intel combined in one file (the biggest one, over 300mb). Install.
4. Restart and go into BIOS to change "dynamic" back to "fixed."
5. Search and find Catalyst 12.2 preview edition (not the official 12.2!) and install on top of HP driver. This seems to work the best. Don't use 12.4 as it is not working. 12.6 is still in Beta.
6. Make sure your windows is fully updated. Some seem to report that this also helps.

The AMD 12.6 is far as I know is a Desktop driver not a Notebook one.
Are many of you trying to use the Totally wrong driver..?
To fix problems with Games you must install 12.4
