AMD 6490m drivers on HP Pavilion dv6-6b51ea

hi guys,

is there an alternative source for updated drivers from AMD for our HP Pavilion dv6-6b51ea ? i am having trouble streaming with netflix (which uses silverlight) and the cause could be older video drivers. i just did some search and i learned that the AMD installer will not install on switchable graphics notebooks so you have to rely on the manufacturer apparently... which is kinda lame..

my old asus netbook had a dedicated nvidia and i could update from nvidia drivers no problem...

anyway i found this blog http://leshcat.blogspot.co.uk/ but it requires serious messing around with lots of hacks and im not in mood for going that route..

any suggestions?? i just checked hp's download section and drivers are always the same, and old....

nobody managed to upgrade the AMD drivers other than what is on HP webste???

i have the problem that CCC crashes while watching netflix in the middle of a movie, they all recommend to put up latest drivers which i cannot do..

actually that is lame from HP that is not upgrading more often... any ideas???
