Hi,
This can depend on your particulat Model, but normally tapping f2 will lower the brightness and f3 will increase it - on some notebooks, you will need to hold down the fn key then tap f2 or f3.

Hi
Click Start then in Search Box type Display click on it then select Adjust Brightness which is on the Left Panel then at the bottom off the screen you will find Screen Brightness just drag the Bar this should resolve your issue.

My son just came in...told me to hold down the ctrl key and the f8 key...voila....the screen is brighter!
My granddaughter had been playing with my computer!
Thanks for your time!
