Can't find my webcam to use it

I just got my Compaq CQ60-227CA tonight. I was happy that it has the built in webcam, but I've looked everywhere for it and canot find where to open and access it to use it. I got this number incase its of any help to anyone, but I doubbt it: 0000.0004.0001.002.000.000.000.000.000 I found it in System<device manager< then I clicked on imaging devices and "HP Webcam-101 came up...it did not say "device undetected anywhere though" and when I clicked on properties that big long number came up. It asked me for the computer to automatically look for updated drivers for the webcam, so I clicked ok and it came back saying that the drivers are all up to date for it. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? How can I find my webcam on my laptop and use it? Thank you for any help.

i have an hp webcam and the blue light comes on when i first start my pc then i cannot get it to run

At least you have the blue light - that means the webcam is connected.  You are half-way there. 

What have you tried "to get it to run"?

Have you looked at the Help File?

There are links in the file to Vista and XP in case you are not running Windows 7.
