Can't see actual jpg file thumbnails when browsing!

recently allowed my HP total care to modify my video choices for best SPEED and NOT for best visual display, but I can't see actual jpg file thumbnails- how & what & where do I adjust that single choice back to view actual jpg thumbnails?

Hello SolidStoneBob,

Change thumbnail size and file details

You can change the size and appearance of your file and folder icons by using the Views menu, which is located on the toolbar within every folder.

  • Open the folder you want to change.
  • Click the arrow next to Views on the toolbar.
  • Move the slider up or down to change the appearance of the icons.

The slider has seven rest positions: Tiles, Details, List, Small Icons, Medium Icons, Large Icons, and Extra Large Icons. You can move the slider to any of these positions, or fine-tune the size of the icons by moving the slider to any point between these positions.

If the first post does not work .. then try ..

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options ..

To restore the original behavior of your folders, click the General tab, and then click Restore Defaults.

That should set everything back to its default state ...
