Re: Change the look display

Try this, if you have it (in the aero theme setup):

Control Panel > icon view > Display > Personalization > Display >

Under Aero Themes > Click on "Windows 7"

Ah!  OK.. You are looking for something else - you need to change the SIZE of things, not the THEME.

You can change the Size of the Click X, the header, that is the Title of the Window.. all sorts of things to make that window easier to manage.

Examples:

You can change the size of the Scroll Bar

You can increase the size of the Menu bar.

Start > search / type > "Window colors" > Click on "Change Window Colors and Metrics"

This calls up "Window Color and Appearance" menu / window

Under Item > Select (for example) Scrollbar > and the size you want (maybe 20 for the scroll bar)

Continue selecting the bits you want from the menu, and the sizes you like.

Apply

There will be a delay between Apply and when the new setting snaps into place... a few seconds where it all might go gray and looks weird.  Just wait.  It should be fine.

When you get it all the way you want it,

Go to Control Panel > icon view > Personalization > My Themes > and save your new Theme settings!

========================================================================

Most of these changes are compatible with any Theme.  Try what you want and experiment!

I know this will help!
