Connecting to television

:catfrustrated:   I have a HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC  Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system

I already have the cables hooked up from my laptop to the television but I am unable to find where or what I'm to do next to bring my laptop up on the tv. I am hoping someone can help me. Thank you for ur time.

Hi,

 

Try pressing f4.  If this brings up a set of screen options, use the arrow keys to highlight either 'Duplicate' or 'Projector Only' and hit enter.
