when i click to open my cyberlink webcam nothing happens...why?

Hi,
It could happen sometimes due to software issues. Nothing to worry...Uninstalling and reinstaling should fix the problem.
You can uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features and then download it again from HP Support and Drivers page by entering the correct product number for the notebook.
If you have trouble finding it then post the product number for the notebook and i should be able to find it for you. Post only the product number and do not post the serial number.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

thanks for the response but ive already done that and im still getting the same results.... do you have any other suggestions?

Will the application launch if you try going to the c drive --> program files --> locate the youcam folder and try to open the application?
If not, uninstall the program, reboot, then re-install.
