Dead screen on G60-445DX

Hi:

 

I have a G60-445DX which is barely 15 months old.

Recently, the screen went dead during use,  but came alive after a reboot.

Now, it wll NOT come alive no matter what.

However, the VGA port does work.

 

Anyone have any suggestions on how I might revive my display screen?
