Display Goes dim after 30-40 seconds

The screen on my notebook computer goes dark about 30-40 after powerup and login.  If I shine a flashlight on the screen I can still see the display.  screen position, angle,  does not seem to matter and if I power off the computer and then power it back up, the light comes on for the 30-40 seconds.

press F10 while the computer is booting up then check if the issue occurs inside the bios.if occurs then it might be a back light issue.it means it needs repair.
