Display issue for Pavillion dv6-3160us

I've now sent this laptop in for repair twice, and honestly I'm getting fed up. Here's my issue: I close the lid while connected to AC power, initiating sleep mode. I then disconnect from AC power while lid is still closed. When I re-open lid, backlight fails to turn on. I can just barely with just the right light above it see the image on the screen. The first time I sent it in for repair, they re-imaged the hard drive (did absolutely nothing, could have told them it wouldn't do anything). The second time I sent it in for repair, they replaced the motherboard, the display, and the video cables. I thought for sure this time it would be fixed. However, the problem persists. Today, I guess I'll send it in for repair again, but I'm curious if there's anything I should be sure to let them know this time. Heck, if needed I'll send a dang video to show exactly what I'm talking about!
