hi man
i have a pavilion-g6
which has two graphics adapters (i think) the ati radeon 6740m and intel hd graphics family
i just been wondering if ican replace any of them for an nvedia one cause my friend has an nvedia and an intel and games work perfectly on them so can i replace it

Yours is most probably a 6470m and you can't change your card, you're stuck with what you bought.

are you sure?? cause my firend who got the same laptop said that the person who sold it to him told him that it is replacable
and if you were right can i do anything to improve my gaming prefomance cause my i got 6 gb  ram and some games still doesn't work fluently

At the time I bought my computer, it was what was available, so it wasn't my personal choice to place THAT particular card/chip in my computer especially as it's a laptop customized by HP... also no 200 dollar machine will be able to handle what I do on my computer.  I looked, and there are no viable replacements.. please stop.

 

Please take a hint from the mod editing your content and leave the thread well enough alone.  I was helped courteously by an expert, and that's all that was needed.  End of thread.
