Hello everyone, hmm i have a problem with a laptop i own, hp compaq 8510w with Ati radeon hd 2600. I installed all the drivers, the video card first from your drivers area, and afterwards from ATI,the latest one. My problem is that the laptop can't detect the TV, but if i reinstall the video card and plug in the cable, it works until the next restart. (Video card is still installed) So if i want to make it work again i have to reinstall the driver.... I tried connecting another laptop with nvidia card from asus and it worked perfectly with no problems on the same TV.... Please help , What should i do? Somtimes its weird it works from a hybernate (until restart or unplugged and restoring the resolution).
I first had windows 7, and now i reinstalled it and put Vista and i'm still having the same problem

Sorry you have not had success.
This is peer-to-peer - Not HP. Probably no one has the magic. ![]()
How long is the cable? Since it does connect, it may be signal strength.
Don't bite - I'm not expert - I showed up.
Still looking...
Maybe the input is rocking / stuck / toggled??
Insert a VGA-cable and enter the monitor menu using the buttons on the monitor. There is an option that is called Input: dSub - change this to Input: HDMI.
I hope this helps.
