Hi there I have a Hp Pavilion DV2000 laptop (as that what it say on the right top hand corner of my screen) but on the back of my PC in a sticker label it says Hp Pavilion DV2500.But the service number is DV2699EA as it says on the back of my PC.
My Big Problem and how it happened
I had the Computer working for around 3 months working great no thing was wrong with it.
Then one day I was on Adobe Dreamweaver making a HTML and was importing a FLV Video in to it when I played it on my Website I just got a Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) but it wasn't the ordinary blue screen you'd expect. It said something about a memory error and then had this very funny sound I then waited for 10 seconds to see if the computer would restart from this random error but it did'nt.So I manually turned it of and back on but to my surprise the screen was showing up with nothing.I then wanted to see if the problem was to do with the Processor or Something else.I then connected my Computer to my TV via a VGA Cable. To my relief the computer loaded with out any problems at all. The Sound , Fingerprint Reader , WIFI , Webcam and everything else is working but my screen is not showing up.I know for a fact that my graphics card chip is Nvidia .Could this mean that my graphics chip has crashed ? .I'm puzzled by what has happened and would really appreciate it if someone could give me a fix to this very bad problem.
By the way before now I never had a problem with my computer before.
I then wanted to see if the PC could even recognise the other Laptop screen and here are my results
Windows would'nt Recognise the screen (BTW The Screen it is showing is the TV)
I then even went to the Nvidia Panel
but still no success.(Again The Screen it is showing is the TV)
Please Please Please Can some one give me a fix.
Thanks Mizzeeboy
