HP Envy 14 Screen Problem

I have a HP ENVY 14 - 1260 SE (Beats Edition) 

-Windows 7 And 8 (Developer)

My screen on my Hp envy went black a few weeks ago, and if you tilt it alittle it will become soild white. I been using a external monitor, and i was trying to install windows 8 on my computer with IOS, Where i could run both operating systems, Mainly 7, But have 8 as a window. I wanted to see some new features that would be coming out on 8. But as soon as i began the install process. My external Monitor was disconnected, and im unable to see my screen at all now, The computer its self i know is unharmed and working fine. Its just i cant see my screen period. Im wondering if there is any key i need to hold? or something to be able to get my screen back on the external monitor.

Try FN + f4 combination to switch screens.

I have the exact same issue and have no a clue what to do, and Im out of warranty.
