I have a HP G600 and it's awesome but i don't have a high enough graphics card to play Spore. ![]()
Can i get a new graphics card (i.e replace the one i've got) or do I have to buy a new laptop?
HELP!

It is not possible to upgrade the graphics in a laptop, unless the laptop has a discrete graphics card. Yours does not have discrete graphics. In the future, if you are wanting to play graphically demanding games on a laptop, you'll have to shop carefully for one meets the requirements of the games you like to play. FWIW, good gaming laptops are very expensive. Don't expect to find a bargain.

Your Intel GMA is a chip soldered to the motherboard, and it uses system resources to do it's job. a "discrete" graphics card is a separate graphics card with its own dedicated video RAM, etc. Yours cannot be upgraded without replacing the motherboard. Solutions like the Intel GMA are used to keep costs down
