HP G62 B07-SL - Switchable Graphics Issue

Hello all,

 

I have an issue with switchable graphics on my G62 b07-SL.

It happens very often that my video adapter "get stuck" to high "high-performance GPU" or "power-saving GPU"

It should auto-switch from a gpu to another when I change power source, but it does not. It also does not switch manually, no matter how many times I click on the buttons in the switchable graphic panel.

As you can see by yourself, I am in battery mode right now and the system does not switch to Intel GPU, but still uses the ATI one.

I noticed that the issue seems to verifies randomly when I restore my system from stand-by or suspension.

When I restart my system I get the switch feature working again.

 

I saw a lot of people complaining about switchable graphics functionality. Is there any way to resolve this issue?
