HP Laptop screen won't turn on.

About 2 weeks ago I bought an HP from best buy. It's been working perfectly until today. When I woke up this morning I had set my laptop on the table to get up and go the bathroom and when I came back my cat had knocked over a soda that spilled onto the laptop. Not much got on it, it only got on the cover of the laptop, and the bottom. It didn't get inside any of the keys or anything. But when I opened it up to see if it still worked, it made a beeping noise for about a minute then stopped, and the screen is unresponsive. All the lights light up like their suppose to but nothing happens. If you know how to fix this problem please help, this is driving me crazy.

Also I'm not sure if this matters or not, but the capslock light is blinking and wont turn off when I press it either.
