HP Pavilion dv7 Monitor not working

Hello,

  My HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC (product number WA801UA#ABA) monitor is not working, where it will not even load and remain black.  All of the lights are functioning correctly on the lid and the computer is fully functional.  I am able to utilize other monitors via the ports, however the computer is not detecting the attached LCD monitor.  I believe the interior cable may have become disconnected but I wanted to see if you could be of any assistance.
