Hi-
I have a totally new HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU, 8GB, 64 bit OS running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1. Beats audio, Radeon graphics
It does not play Netflix streaming--the screen is dark even though the video appears to be playing, and there is no sound.
It does not play YouTube videos--the video plays but the sound is off. Same goes for Megavideo and other streaming services.
On the other hand, it does play music just fine on the native Windows Media Player. I have not tried video on my laptop.
I'm getting pretty frustrated and not sure what to do. Does anyone have an idea whether this is an HP, Beats, or Windows 7 problem (or some combination of all three)?
At this point I'm considering doing a complete system restore and starting from scratch. Any help is appreciated.

Eihalcon, welcome to the forum.
It sounds like you don't have Adobe Flash Player installed. At least, I suggest starting with this as a possible solution.
Please let us know if this solves your problem or not.
