HP Pavillion DV2000 audio & vga drivers

A friend of mine has the dv2000 pavilion laptop with vista installed.  He decided to uninstall vista and install xp 64bit.  The problem now is that I cannot find the vga or audion drivers anywhere, can anyone help????

Some spec:

AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-58, 1.9 GHz, 1.93 Gb Ram, Windows XP Home Edition SP2

any help would be much appreciated

Locate the Service Tag on bottom_Check for complete model number as shown in section 1 below,and post it.P/N in section 2 also will help.

Install Nvidia Chipset, Nvidia Graphics and MS UAA with Conexant Audio from this guide:

Next use your Vista drivers for Alps touchpad,HP Quick Launch,Ricoh Card Reader and Modem:

Hi Again - sorry to be  the bearer of bad news but, Ive just been told that the mute button does not work and when headphones are plugged in the speakers are not muted, any idea how I could fix this issue?

Hmmm,strange. Did you install .NET before HP Quick Launch? Try uninstalling QL and reinstall. I have seen the audio fail to mute when headphones are plugged in_only option seems to be to Mute first and then plug in headphones. Gotta get the Mute button working for that one.

I have lost my audio and vga driver due to a accident,  so plz snd me a copy of it so that i can resume my normal work. piz do the needfull and solve my problem. this is my a kind request to hp.

I have been having the same problem but with my dv6700/Win 7 OS

Can this problem be fixed with the same driver download?
