Have HP Pavilion dv5-1235dx notebook, How do I use the web camera feature

I have the subject notebook and can't find an icon on my desktop or on the start up menue to activate and use my web cam. I also can't find it in programs.  Please advise how to use it.

If you cannot find any Webcam programs then ...

Download : " SP37849 " for YouCam, it is the Vista install

You can usually use quickplay to run the webcam, or if that doesnt try the youcam link lsited or see if its installed on your computer.

I beleive the dv5's come with YOUCAM, which is a very neat little program. If you put "you" in the start search bar it should find it. If not then you should have Quickplay....put "quick" in the start search bar to find it. Quickplay lets you view your webcam, but it's half as cool as youcam, I would recommend the download.

In case you haven't gotten the answer yet, you can find the webcam in the MediaSmart program under video. To run the program just "touch" the lighted MediaSmart display next to the power button. Then click the rightmost icon.
