How do I make my HP TrueVision camera on my laptop work?

I can't find any thing about the camera on my laptop. It's a pavilion dv6, It has an I7, windows 7, radeon graphics, and the camera is not listed any where in the program files.

I can not finde HP-trueVision cam. on my laptop. Its hp- pavilion dv6, i have windows7, i5.... i find it once before, but now it is imposible to fins =(

You have to search in the hardware..

Go to> Control Panel > Device Manager > ?Screen Devices? and then you should see the HP webcam listed

do local file search on  mediasmart.   Select HP MediaSmart Webcam.

check if you have HP TrueVision visible in Device Manager

if not - probably you have the problem with webcam/mic connector
