Hi,

Was that a typo and you meant to say WIFI? Look on the upper part keyboard for an icon that looks like an antenna. Press the nutton to turn it on. If wireless is on the led will glow white. Wireless off will have an amber led. See page 5 of this manual for an image that shows exactly where it is. Another way is to go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Connection Manager . You can turn the wireless on with the HP connection manager.

edit: Daniel_Potyrala is correct. You still do need to enable WIFI.

Hi,
To use WiDi you need to enable WiFi first, because this connection is required to transmit signal to Widi adapter which should be connected to your tv.
Things which you need to use Widi:
- Intel My WiFi (it is included in Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software) and Intel Wireless Display software. Both should be already pre-installed on your notebook by HP.
- Widi Adapter (for example Belkin ScreenCast* TV Adapter, NETGEAR Push2TV* HD Adapter or D-Link DHD-131* TV Adapter).
How to use it? You just need to pair Intel Wireless Display software with Widi adapter.
Below video will show you some informations about Intel WiDi and set-up process of WiDi connection:
Ps.
If WiDi software is not pre-installed then this is not a problem because you may download latest version from Intel site here.
