How to turn off the HP MediaSmart Emotions box???

I have an HP Pavilion dv4-2161nr laptop, using windows 7. Each time I use the webcam for video calls (on Skype) the HP MediaSmart Emotions box keeps popping up during my calls.  I close the box and a min or two later it pops up again. Anyone know how I can disable or shutoff this annoying box??
