Hp Pavilion dv7 screen going blank

I'm having the same problem that several other people have posted about. I'll be using my laptop and out of nowhere the screen goes blank. I have to restart the computer and then it will work OK. It just started happening about a week or so ago and now it is happening more frequently. Can anyone help?
