Have a TX2-1377nr 2 months out of the 1 year warranty AND a TX2500 that HP cannot even pull up in it's system that both share the "blackscreen" problem that so many are having. Cap-lock and Num-lock lights flash, lights on monitor bezel light up on both, but NOTHING on screen itself. Everything I have read suggests this is a known problem with the motherboard that HP refuses to deal with outside of charging $300 - $400 to replace the motherboard, only to have it go bad again after their 90 day warranty has expired on the new board. Has anyone had any success in having HP remedy this out of warranty at no expense? I am thinking class action lawsuit is in order for a problem of this magnitude.
