LINES ACROSS THE MONITOR

i have a G72 notebook and just recently i have had lines going across my screen. It comes and goes and its really irritating. can anyone help me on a solution? my laptop is not even a year old, bought it last November. i appreciate any input thanks

Turn OFF the Notebook and once its powered ON, keep Pressing F10 to load BIOS screen of the Notebook. In this screen if you face same problem its a hardware failure else its a software issue.
