This is a list of Applications that do not work on the HP DV6t due to the lack of OpenGL support on the automatic switching 6770m and just other bugs that plague this terribly ineffective notebook. 

To get the list started, ALL OpenGL applications do not work.

Good list. Just to let everyone know, this list applies to all new dv7t Quad Editions, as well as dv6t Quad Editions. We have not recieved word on this issue from anyone at HP in over a month.

The most important of the major #$*(up is that currently popular and UPCOMING software are not going to work right.

Adobe Photoshop works MUCH better with OpenGL enabled. Why put in an awesome card to have it gimped by the dynamic switching drivers? Nobody asked HP to take a step backward, but they did it anyways.

Then there is RAGE, a game made with the iD Tech 5 engine WHICH IS ALL OPENGL. This game is not even out yet and what a shame not a single new HP laptop will support it with the current driver implementation.

I already spoke with the tech support, customer service, case manager, etc and all of these morons only can "forward the issue to the appropriate departments" aka archive a complaint. It is sad that a company could hire such lowly skilled "specialists."

Hopefully, my complaint makes its way to the engineering department who are probably the only guys who can write new drivers that work like the old ones. I want Flight Simulator X and Minecraft to work because guess what, they are not some obscure niche software for people with an entertainment notebook.

Why the **bleep** did they not stay with the mux design. My 21 day warranty will be up soon and I am in Europe. If this issue is not fixed then they WILL refund my purchase. HP is engaging in unethical and illegal business practices by selling a laptop with a radeon 6770m gpu and not informing the customer of its limitations that HP has placed upon it. Everyone should complain like hell on these boards and their phone lines.

Seems to be a rather large Screwup. I finally was able to determine that my 6770 was actually "working" ! I do not game so I just wanted to see the card work but seems it takes a game to actually make it work. Otherwise you are mostly running on the Intel HD Graphics anyway for any normal stuff. Even if you specify High Performance everywhere you can in CCC you still have IntelHD Graphics. Something else has to tell the 6770 to kick on. Dont know what that is!

Yes, I don't understand how a company as big as HP could have released something so poorly designed. I would be ashamed if I had written these drivers.
