Hi,
I bought two HP Pavilion g6 Notebooks with Intel HD graphics at Christmas for my sons. My sons downloaded Minecraft and want to play on their new laptops. I think it is an Open GL game. The game keeps running out of memory and my Norton Antivirus warns of high CPU usage. I think it has to do with my Intel HD video. Is there any fix for this (i.e. a driver or setting changes)?
Many thanks,
Brian

Currently unfixable problem across the g6 & g7 range:
If you contact hp they will tell you to enter your bios menu screen at start up (F10), go to the system configuration menu and select "fixed graphics mode". This would fix your problem but it seems hp has left this option out of newer bios versions for reasons beyond understanding. Good luck anyway.
