My HP laptop was amazing at gaming, until...

I played for about 2 weeks on my HP laptop now.

The game I used to play had 500 fps when I always had the charger connected to it, but when I remove the charger, it usually gets low to 100, and the mouse and keyboard feel... DIFFERENT in game.

When suddenly the game started running on 100 fps even when my charger is connected.

It's annoying for this to happen all of a sudden.

It used to perform extremely well until now.

Here are my system specs

Manufacturer: Hewelett-Packard

Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz 3.53 Ghz

Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.80 usable)

System type: 64-bit Operating system

No pen and touch

Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

Now on the "switchable graphics" menu, it was set to "Power-saving GPU" with a "Automatically select power-saving GPU when on battery" checked. When I switch it to "High-Performance GPU" and uncheck the box, it doesn't change a thingy.

Is it actually my game's problem? (which I'm sure I didn't do anything in the game) or a bad charger? If there is any fix or help please tell me, thanks in advance.

Fixed! Powerplay wasn't on, had to turn it on and maximize performance in both "battery" and "power core" (or something like that), didnt know how I turned it off if it was on at the first place xD, must be some glitches in connecting the charger repeatedly.
