Pavilion dv2701tx white screen/screen freeze problem.

Whenever I keep my notebook lid at an angle less than or equal to vertical, the screen freezes or becomes white. But, when I wiggle the screen, it gets back to normal.  Please help as it keeps getting worse with time.
