Pavilion dv6315ca General Performance and boot up slow

I have an HP dv6315ca notebook, the performance has dropped drastically in the last few months, even on start up from overnight shutdown takes several minutes in comparison a minute or two when it was newer.  Opening programs seem to take forever.  I have run all sorts of programs to clean disk, registry etc with no success.
