Hey. I have a problem with a changing the screen brightness on my new ProBook 4530s after hibernation or sleep mode.
After sleep mode the brightness is often "stuck" at the same level and can not be changed either through the program HP Power Assistant, Windows Power Management or hotkeys (fn+F2 or fn+F3). When I press the hotkeys, on the screen pops up a window of brightness level, but it just stays on the same level and doesnt change.
Now helps only restart. I've updated all the drivers to the latest version but it did not help.
Please help, what i can do for fix it?

Yes seems like this is a tiny little glitch ignored by HP for years ... I found this and it worked for me around the glitch:

Closing the lid and opening it again to be simple. Provided you have set the settings for the computer to "Do Nothing" when the lid is closed.
