Hi,
I have a HP Envy 4-1046TX Ultrabook that comes with 2 gb dedicated graphic card from AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series. Also it comes with Windows 7 Home Basic.
I have recently upgraded my OS to Windows 8 Pro. After this upgrade everything else is working fine except my Catalyst Control Center and Display drivers. I have installed Max Payne 3 before upgrade, which is not working now for this error. It asked me to upgrade the drivers or enable adapter from Display settings.
I tried upgrading it to Catalyst Control Center 12.8 released on 15th August by AMD Radeon which supports Win 8, however still not resolved. I also tried updating the drivers from Device manager but still not resolved.
Please advise a solution. Thanks in Advance.

I solve problem using old drivers here:
Here is how...
Uninstall Intel driver. (check also delete driver files)
Uninstall ATI driver. (check also delete driver files)
Than download driver above, extract package. Package will ask to install certificate. Confim and restart Windows. After restart run installation file using Windows 7 compability mode.On custom installation option Select Driver, Catalyst Control Center and Intel Media. After setup complete restart PC, now you can switch between ATI or Intel graphics card.
%100 working, but HP must release updated ATI drivers for Windows 8...

I've written an article on my personal blog (but in Turkish language). You can see screenshots of working drivers there.
ATI Switchable Graphics Solution
It's working:

You get blue screen?
Restart your PC, wait at blue screen. Shutdown using power button. Than turn on, Windows automatically start recovery mode. Click Restore button and wait.. This method worked for me when I installed 12.8 drivers.

It worked for my dm4 3000et! At last I can use 12.8 drivers. My Photoshop CS6 black screen problem also gone with this drivers...
Set Switchable Graphics Mode : Dynamic on BIOS and install driver package..
In Fixed mode there is an error, and I think LESHCATLABS.NET on working on this, because they removed driver page for 12.8..
