Hi David,
I travel a lot, so many times i don't have internet connection, but in 3 fist months i could play fifa 09, Heroes V, Medieval II, M&B without any problems, and now i get about 30-35 fps when i trun them...
I wouldn' t be so upset if they didn't work nice from the beginning, but they used to : <
I though recovery will solve this, but it didn't : <
Here i will type something what maibe will be usefull
I find something interesting - in my BIOS is something like this
F.26 - 02/18/2011 ( 048E100000242B10000020000 )
And the newest BIOS on hp site on my laptop is F.23, and i can't remember myself i ve' instelled it -.- I installed bios F.23 long time ago, but not F.26...
And here are my starting programs ---> http://imageshack.us/f/88/beztytuufhq.png/ ( black - enabled, grey - disabled )
Regards,
Adam

Hi Adam,
Start-ups look Ok.
Could you let me know the result of the following:
Open windows Control Panel, open Performance Information and Tools, click the Advanced tools link and then click 'Clear all Windows Experience Index scores and re-rate the System'. Do the scores for Graphics and Gaming Graphics change? What are both scores?
Regards,
DP-K

Hi David,
I've done it, and the score is
Graphics : 5.0 before was 5.1
Grphics in games : 6.0, but before it was 6.3 : o
I guess nothing' s wrong with card ( physically ), maibe it's with power plans or with drivers?
Because when i have the option PowerPlay in Catalyst there is:
Connected to power: i have The best performance
Battery: i have The Best performance, but when i choose The longes battery life laptop starts working slower, even if i am connected to power -.- I think it' s a kind bug, so maibe there is a bug in plans of power too?
Regards,
Adam

Hi Adam,
Ok, it may be an idea to try yet another video driver.
Download the driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49001-49500/sp49450
When the download has completed, temporarily disable your Security software, then open your Downloads folder, right click the Installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to begin the installation. When finished, restart the notebook and re-enable your security software. Then clear all WEI scores again and re-rate the system.
Let me know the scores now.
Regards,
DP-K

Hi David,
Sorry it took me so long, but i couldn't reply for some time.
I' ve downloaded this driver, turned off avira and started installation.
It nas unpacked itself to SwSetup folder as always and started driver installation so i went out of the room, because usually it takes about 15 minutes, but when i went back in the room after 40 sec. the installation ended up! So i checked the driver version and it' s still 8.752.1.0, not 8.741.1.1000 as it should be...
So, i have started installation again, and it looked like it:
Progress:
1)checking system
2)checking graphics equipment ( i m translating this )
3)end
And it didn't even want to restart...
I' m a bit confused ![]()
What should i do? Unsintall driver and install older which U gave me?
Regards,
Adam

Hi Adam,
Yes, try uninstalling the current drivers and then run the last installer you downloaded again, without restarting the notebook. I have a lot of work to get through today, so I'm on and off the PC, but I will get back to you.

HI DP-K,
Okay, so i have run ATI Catalyst Install Manager, and i chose the expres uninstallation... This option always worked, but this time, i dunno why, in the half of the progress i saw The Blue Screen of Death - i caught only that there was something about problem with video driver... When the nootebook restarted and i chose Start Windows normally, and after startup i got the oldest drivers - 8.692.1 A ( i think they were restored from recovery ), so i have installed theese drivers which i have downloaded before.
And about the numbers now:
After installing the numbers aren't the same:
Sometimes they are :
Processor: 6,3 ; 6,4
Graphics : 5.0
Graphics in games: sometimes it gets 6,3 ; 6.2 ; sometimes 5.9....
Which is weird ![]()
Waiting for Your reply
Regards,
Adam ![]()

Hi Adam,
Try the following.
Open the Catalyst Control Centre, from the Graphics dropdown menu select 3D ( if there is a tick against 'Custom Setting', remove it ) and make sure the slider setting here is on 'Balanced' - click Apply if you make a change here. Again, from the Graphics dropdown menu, click Powerplay, remove the tick from 'Enable Powerplay', click Apply and then close CCC. Restart the notebook and check how your games play - is there any difference?

DP-K
