Run Direct AMD Drivers on HP Pavilion dv6-6070ee (Not Using HPs Dual Drivers)

Hi All,

 

I have had my HP Pavilion dv6-6070ee  for quite a while now and use it for casual games. I was wondering if it would be possible if I could use the AMD drivers direct from AMD instead of waiting for HP to make some drivers capable of running both the AMD graphics card and the Intel Power Saving Card. I am not too bothered about the Intel Power Saving Graphics still being able to be used as most of the time I have the computer plugged in (Unless draining the battery).

 

Please could anyone advise me as whenever trying to install a AMD driver direct it states that it is not compatible.

Hi,

 

I believe HP and AMD only allow users to use fully tested graphics drivers on HP machines therefore we can not install AMD drivers directly. This is understandable to avoid ball passing.
