S-Video out is black and white only

Hi, I recently installed Vista SP2 on my dv2416us laptop.  Before the install, s-video out to my tv worked great.  After the install, my s-video will only show up in black and white on the tv screen.  I'm not sure if it has to do with the SP2 upgrade or not.

 

Anyone experiencing the same problem?  Any thoughts relating to SP2 or in general about an s-video solution would be much appreciated.

Check the pins on the s-video cable.  The black and white uses a separate pin from the color.  Often the color pin gets bent down or breaks off, thus leaving you with a black and white picture.
