Screen problems with HPG50 laptop... [ Edited ]

I've had this computer for 2 and a half years, and when I open my HPG50 laptop lately, the screen sometimes doesn't come on clearly...I have a white screen with lines from time to time, along with a clear picture. Once the screen is open and in position, it usually stops. I think there may be a problem with a cable or something leading from the screen to the computer...Any ideas?

Try booting to BIOS check if screen issue is visible there/ or use an external monitor to and check if issue is visible in external monitor

If not that means theres a HW Failure
