Screen shuts off when open past 70 degrees hp pav dv5z laptop

My hp pavillion dv5z 1000 shuts off when it is opened over 70 degrees. I think something is loose inside, it happen after a friend tried to fix it. Should a replace the LCD or just explore other options?
