Video playback

Hi, someone help please!

On laptop when im watching video and not online but something downloaded the video is fine for a few seconds and then it just locks up!

The sound keeps running so im thinking its maybe a video card problem or a problem with the memory but the sound does keep working mostly so if anyone has any ideas please help

Im running HP Pavilion dv7 notebook PC

Hi,

 

This may also due to the player software. Which one are you using ? Have you tried VLC yet ? You can download it (free) from the following link:

 

  http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

I have used loads of different video players and it is locking up with everything.
