if you are running Windows 7 STARTER, that feature is not available. You have to have the upgraded version to premium. The upgraded version allows you to customize backgrounds and themes.. The stores sell the STARTER to PREMIUM upgrade for less that the regular upgrade from Vista to 7....It's called the "ANYTIME UPGRADE"...i think or "ANYTIME VERSION"...

Note the Subject line in your message: it contains "running MI (Ubuntu)". Ubuntu is a Linux derivative and is not a Microsoft product. Hope this helps.
