I use a HP G60- 249WM Notebook PC. The webcam on my computer had stopped working quite a while ago, maybe like a year or so. The laptop came with a program called CyberLink Youcam and when I opened up the program it was bring up a message saying that there wasn't a webcam installed into it, but I thought nothing of it because I had no use for it before; now that I do I've been trying quite a few ways to fix it. Here's a list of all the things I've already done:
- Tried finding it on device manager but there was no section for "webcam"
- Tried downloading a new webcam software
- Reverted my latptop back to factory settings but I couldn't find the actual CyberLink Youcam software that was supposed to come with my laptop
- Checked device manager again to see if it the webcam section would show up but it didn't
I checked everything I could online before the factory setting wipeout I really couldn't find much. So at this point I'm wondering if there's any tricks I haven't tried yet that anyone here can provide for me, or if I'll have to take my laptop to a professional.
