changing desktop background

I just purchased a hp mini 210...when I right click on a picture and choose "set as desktop background", it doesn't change it. Something I am doing wrong? Help

Is the account that you are using one that has admin privileges?

Which version of Windows Operating System is installed?

It says I am the admin and have all privileges, its running windows 7

i know u using window 7 starter

the problem that window not support the wallpaper

and got bug

u need to upgrade it to other version of window 7

or downgrade to xp for better perfomance and long life battery

no more bug and stupid version window

The inability to change the background was a nasty trick done by Microsoft. They hard coded the background image. The other nasty trick is being unable to open more six applications at once. There are workarounds available but you would be better off upgrading to a better version of Windows 7.

I was able to change my wallpaper befor but now I can't, other user on my laptop can change his wallpaper. I can change screensaver and picture for user but not my wallpaper. I have a full size laptop with windows 7.
