display driver installation failed

i am using Dv6-6016tx. there was a brief hang of the display and a pop up says " the display driver stopped responding and recovered". So tried installing the  radeon 6490m driver version 03.00.0838 but the installation wizard says" installation complete (warnig occured during installation). Veiw log for detail. In the log AMD Display Driver final status Fail version of item 8.882.2.3000. how can i correct this.
