fixed switchable graphics bios upgrade - pavilion g6-1118tx

Hi,

Purchased Pavilion g6-1118tx. It has 2410M 1GB Radeon graphics. its not using the GPU when running softwares.

Upgraded BIOS to F.32 (28/7/11). The needed option still isnt coming in this BIOS. What to do next?

Oh and btw, the official HP statement dosent even mention Pavilion G6

I mailed Hp's ex-ceo leo on the issues, found his mail id on the net. They send off some service guys to my place who didnt even know about the issue.

I recently noticed that the GPU isnt being used for ANY game/ application. I ran Cpu-z and GPU sint showing up at all. Same with dxdiag and everything else. Hp seriosly needs to get its act together.

Hello? Can anyone please tell me a SINGLE application for which they have themselves seen the pavilion laptops with dynamic switchable graphics using the GPU?

Heres a list I tried:

1. CPU-Z (Hardware detector)

2. dxdiag (Directx Diagnostic App)

3. 3D Mark (Benchmarking)

4. Furmark (OpenGL Benchmarking)

NONE of them are rendering using the GPU even after adding them to "High Performance" apps using the Catalyst control center. I dont think it works for directx either, leave alone OpenGL.Any ideas?

I have purchesed HP pavilion g6-1118tx laptop 2 month ago... bt its giving me only 1hrs 20 mnts battery back up.... i am very upset about ur product ,,, i have already visited  Hp service centers and also called customercare,,, but noone showing interest about solving this problem..... 

 Please Tell me what 'll i do next........................................
