horizontal line appear on my hp g6 laptop screen

i just got my Pavilion G6 1250EE one month ago and i already have 2 Horizontal lines on my screen when starting the laptop and continue on the windows .

is this a hardware or software issue ........

the easiest way to tell is reboot and go into BIOS mode, if the flickers are still there, it's probably hardware. Usually you hit F10 on start up repeatedly to enter bios mode. Hope that helps!
