Hi DebiSue,
Your question lacks any context.
Yellow shadow "where" to the "right of all words and lines"
In a browser? In Word? On your computer screen?
Are you using a Notebook? A desktop computer? What is the Product Number?
Is this on a printed Page? From a Printer?? What is the model of the Printer?
Sorry, there just isn't enough information to help you. ??
Would you care to clarify... try again?
Thanks!

I have a dv7-3080us Entertainment Notebook/Windows 7. The yellow shadow appears @ to the right of every character and every vertical line. It does not appear on the printed page.

Hi DebiSue,
On your computer screen?
On your Windows 7 Windows Explorer window?
OK..
Options and Things to Try:
- You may need to run a color calibration on your screen to see if you can adjust the color density and hue
Control Panel > icon view > Display > Calibrate Color
Just before you start, you Click into the "How do I calibrate my display" help file...
- You might need to adjust the brightness - same page as "Calibrate Color" above
- You might benefit from "Adjust ClearType text" - I am not sure if this will help with "yellow shadow", but the setup / adjustment does not take long to run and it may work improve the text display.
--------------------------------------------------
- You might need to update your display driver... There was a new display driver for NVidia display in October 2011.
NVIDIA Graphics Driver sp54929 V8.17.12.7600
- Save the *.exe installation package on your computer
NOTE the name and the location - the *.exe file will likely save to "Downloads “
- Install the Software / Driver installation package: If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package(s) and “double-click” to install, else Right-Click, Select ‘run as Administrator’ and install.
--------------------------------------------------
I hope this helps.
Good Luck!
