hp pavilion dv6-6b11ev catalyst update

hello from greece.i have a  pavilion dv6-6b11ev and its a really great and powerfull machine.i want to ask.why i cant update the ati catalyst ???(i downloaded from ati yesterday and when i install it,first : ati catalyst wont start up and second:i must to to uninstall it and instal the factory catalyst who is older than that and the only who my notebook can work fine???).i'm wondering if i'm never can't install the next updates from ati and always i'll have the older???thanx who listening me.

Welcome to the club, i own a HP Pavillion dv6-6b19ev and i have the same question as you.

I don't think that we will get ever an updated catalyst from HP.

I think that everyone in this forum should try to contact them and tell them we want an update!

friend atsele if that you say its true i'm very sorry who i trust hp for my notebook.i ' ll never make the same mistake. but i think HP is a Great Company and dont leave us without a new ati catalyst.
